Pour son lancement, Montmartre Moments aura l’honneur d’accueillir Bonfire Madigan Shive, artiste dont la voix et les compositions au violoncelle sont appréciées de part le monde ainsi que Martin Jacque qui nous parlera des mouvements artistiques de Montmartre au 19ème siècle. L'artiste Malika Makouf Rasmussen se joindra à Bonfire Madigan pour le plus grand plaisir de nos oreilles!
Débutant le violoncelle à 9 ans, Bonfire Madigan Shive entame sa carrière à l’âge de 15 ans en composant ses propres chansons sur la scène du Pacific Northwest Riot Grrrl, s’associant au label indépendant record K ainsi que Kill Rock Stars. Shive a continué de s’établir en tant qu’interprète singulière, mélange de folk, punk, art, styles classiques et avant-baroques.
Ses albums comprennent Sew True, ...from the Burnpile, Saddle the Bridge, Plays for Change, et le récent I Bleed: a Decade of Song; Elle est actuellement en train de terminer son sixième album, en collaboration avec son propre label: MoonPuss Music. www.bonfiremadigan.com
